Medical Associates Clinic opened at 772 East Dakota Avenue, on February 1, 1960. Recently the clinic has opened a new 3 story building on Friday, October 7, 2005 at 100 MAC Lane in Pierre, SD.

Medical Associates Clinic, LLP is a Limited Liability Partnership comprised of physician owners within the clinic. The clinic is located adjacent to St. Mary's Healthcare Center in Pierre, SD. Medical Associates Clinic is a multi-specialty group practice with the following specialties: Family Practice, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Podiatry and Nephrology.

Medical Associates Clinic houses a Same Day Surgery Center which is certified by Medicare and the State of South Dakota.

Ancillary services which are provided within the clinic include digital x-ray, computerized electronic medical records, full service laboratory, EKG, laser cosmetic surgery, acupuncture, OB ultrasound, echocardiography (echo ultrasound), pulmonary function testing, and bone densitometry.
 
The physicians of Medical Associates Clinic travel to outreach clinics in the outlying region and provide services to small communities in a 100-mile radius. Some of these communities have hospitals, and others are designated as rural health clinics.
